As a social scientist this course pushed my growth edges and helped me better understand how permaculture design frameworks parallel social ecology. This course provided guidance for our university garden proposal at Lincoln University’s Living Lab Center, and the tools for people across disciplines to work collaboratively in collective community care in open growing spaces.
