Jessica Peterson
Wild Willow Wellness
Jessica Peterson serves her community of Helena, Montana as a facilitator, strategic and fundraising planner, project coordinator, organizational and ecological systems designer, farmer, herbalist, and massage therapist. She owns and manages two businesses: Wild Willow Wellness and Inside Edge Strategies and Design.
She holds a BA in Psychology and an MA in Development Economics with an emphasis in Population, Poverty, and Social Development and Global Trade Systems. She is trained in Non-Violent Communication and Gracious Space Facilitation. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist. Jessica served in the United States Peace Corps in Madagascar, addressing Child and Maternal Health and Organizational Capacity Building.
She applies whole systems approaches, including permaculture design toward social and environmental justice, bio-regional food sustainability, parenting, self and home care. Jessica holds two Permaculture Design Certifications (PDC) and teaches PDCs and other design and wellness courses.
She’s taught and collaborated with inspiring leader practitioners in the ecological design and educations field such as Kareen Erbe (Broken Ground) Dave Jacke (author of Edible Forest Gardens) and Penny Livingston-Starke (Regenerative Design Institute). She and her business partner with Inside Edge Strategies and Design co-designed and developed the first public edible forest garden in Montana, The 6th Ward Garden Park, with Dave Jacke and the community of Helena, Montana.
