This course has given me a broader understanding of what permaculture is and how many different ways and areas in which the design principals can be implemented. This course has allowed me to gift to my parents a design to move them into a more self-sustaining lifestyle as they move into retirement. A major issue we both unraveled and were able to address in this design were some water issues that threaten the structural integrity of the two structures on the property. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning more about the land they live on or interact with, and also how they can steward that land and the species it is shared with.
