Teacher Bio
I currently live in Montrose, Colorado where I own an acre of property in the high desert. I also rented houses and managed projects on the Colorado Front Range near Boulder and Denver as well as in the high mountains of Buena Vista and Crested Butte. I have designed, installed, and maintained projects from small container gardens to large multi-acre farms. The majority of my work has been in individually owned homes and businesses and less in community projects and education. My expertise lies in visualizing the big picture, looking at the smaller components of the design, understanding the connections, integrating everything together to create a system, and coming up with a plan to get it done.
I own Online Landscape Designs, where I create eco-friendly landscape and permaculture designs focusing on native and pollinator-friendly plants, water-wise landscapes, edible gardens, and outdoor spaces that connect people to each other and their natural environment.
I have years of experience designing, installing, and maintaining hundreds of outdoor landscape projects including forest gardens, earth works, pollinator and wildlife habitats, edible annual and perennial gardens, therapy centers, yoga retreats, and outdoor sanctuaries for humans and wildlife. I completed my PDC in 2014 in Boulder, Colorado and I have been integrating permaculture ideology into my designs ever since. I have successfully mentored many students through the PWG online PDC.
