After moving to the mountains of Colorado in 1999 Paige Payne developed a deep appreciation and understanding of nature, diverse ecosystems, and the influence of nature on mental and spiritual health. She began designing, installing, and maintaining landscapes in 2001.
After completing her PDC in 2014 Paige began incorporating permaculture principles into her designs whenver possible. She has had the opportunity to design and oversee the installation of hundreds projects that include forest gardens, earth works, pollinator and wildlife habitats, edible annual and perennial gardens, and outdoor sanctuaries for humans and wildlife. Her designs focus on the interconnectedness of features, species diversity, and encouraging people to interact with their land and with nature. Today she runs Online Landscape Designs, a virtual landscape design service that offers landscape and permaculture design online.
